Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin has been given a release date

Ending the Square Enix Presents for Tokyo Game Show, the company announced that Stranger Of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin will be releasing on March 18 for consoles and PC, with another trial of the game available now, check out the newest trailer below.

In the game you will meet Jack and his allies, as they throw open the gates to the Chaos Shrine and step into a world of dark fantasy and exhilarating battles to discover if they are truly the Warriors of Light the prophecy foretold.

For those on PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S, the second trial is available now and while an expansion of the first trial version of the game, which launched in June, there is more to do. Players can explore an additional stage of the game, the Refrin Wetlands, alongside a new ally, experience new playstyles in battle with the addition of multiple new jobs, and fight against an array of new enemies. This will also be the first opportunity for players to sample the game’s multiplayer function.

You had better get in soon though as the trial is only available until October 11.

The game is being developed by Koei Tecmo and leans heavily into the action rpg mechanics the studio is known for, so even if you are not a die hard Final Fantasy fan, there might be enough of a different gameplay experience here to draw you in.

The game is coming on March 18 to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
