Star Wars The Force Unleashed is powering up and coming to Switch this April
Lucasfilm Games have announced that developer Aspyr are bringing Star Wars The Force Unleashed to the Switch this April, specifically the Wii version, check out the reveal trailer below.
In this unique story, you will take on the role of Starkiller, the secret apprentice of Darth Vader, who is on a mission to hunt down and destroy the remaining Jedi.
When the game first released, it made a big deal out of the fact that you had unprecedented control over the force and that was true, from unleashing lighting attacks, to picking up Stormtroopers and throwing them at their friends, the power in your hands was unlimited.
The game will sport motion control support, something that the Wii version offered over the other platforms, but you can opt for just button controls.
Something that was unique to the Wii release was the addition of the duel multiplayer mode, which is being brought across to this release as well. The mode is local online, no online multiplayer for this one.
As a little nugget of information, the game was originally created here in Australia, while the other versions were done at LucasArts, so nice to see an aussie made game getting another chance to shine. The game can be ordered now from the eShop and will release on April 20.
