Star Wars Outlaws deals out new content and a big update

Ubisoft have released a new content update for Star Wars Outlaws and a big update for the game. The new content is included within the Season Pass and will put players into the world of gambling far more than the base game, along side the familiar Lando Calrissian, plus the game is finally on Steam. Check out the launch trailer for Wild Card below.

The story pack will be accessible after the Gunsmith and The High Roller quests from the base game are completed. To start Wild Card, players should interact with the holotable inside the Trailblazer, and let the adventure begin.

The Star Wars Outlaws: Wild Card story pack will be automatically accessible to Season Pass owners, and can be purchased separately. When Wild Card is released, Season Pass owners will also get the Hunter's Legacy Bundle and the Cartel Ronin Bundle with additional outfits for Kay and Nix, plus cosmetics for Kay's speeder and her ship, the Trailblazer.

While the Wild Card DLC requires a purchase, a big 1.4 update has been released for the game and one of the big updates is to the games stealth, among much more. The below video will give you a breakdown of some of the bigger changes, below it will be the complete list of updates.

The update will be differing sizes, depending on your platform, here are those details:

  • PlayStation®5: 7.44 GB (version 01.004.000)

  • Xbox Series X|S: 10.18 GB (version 1.0.4.0)

  • PC: 8.83 GB (version 1.0.4.0)

Each patch always has a few items that the team want you to really know about, these are the highlights for the 1.4 update.

  • Notable updates to stealth and combat that allow players greater choice, including using stealth or reaching for their blaster, even in syndicate territories in cities.

  • Enemy AI and detection improvements, with players being notified when they're being detected and can choose to escalate or change tactics to remain in stealth.

  • Enemy weak points have been added to reward strategic gameplay, which if targeted can trigger explosions or cause enemies to die in spectacular new ways.

  • Re-tuned Kay's blaster and pickup weapons to improve the combat experience, including being able to carry two handed weapons in more situations.

  • Facial expressions and animations in dialogue scenes have been improved, the option to toggle off the cinematic lens during gameplay has been added, and the visibility of distant lights has been improved.
