S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl gets another slight delay, now coming in November

Developers GSC Game World have announced that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl will miss its planned September release and will now arrive on November 20. The reason, they want to have more time to fix all the issues they can.

We know you might be tired of waiting, and we truly appreciate your patience. These two additional months will give us the chance to fix more “unexpected anomalies” (or simply “bugs”, as you call them). We are always grateful for your ongoing support and understanding - it means the world to us. We’re just as eager as you are to finally release the game and for you to experience it for yourself.
— Yevhen Grygorovych, Game Director at GSC Game World

For those who want to see the game sooner rather than later, a special S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Developer Deep Dive will happen on August 12th or 13th. Now GSC Game World are saying the 12th, but depending on the time of day on the 12th, it could end up being a very early 13th for us.

The game is now set to release on November 20th for Xbox Series X|S and PC, along with a day one inclusion to Game Pass.
