Hazelight Studios and Electronic Arts have released a new trailer for Split Fiction, which shows off some of the fun that awaits players with this new co-op adventure.

The game tells the story of Mio and Zoe, a pair of writers who have very different genre styles, but after being hooked up into a machine designed to steal their creative ideas, those different styles are thrown together.

In order to escape and keep their minds intact, they will need to work together and crash the system that keeps them imprisoned, all the while discovering things about each other and themselves.

Much like the other games from Hazelight, the game must be played with another person, no single player mode is on offer here. This time as the games worlds are made up from the two genres, fantasy and sci-fi will smash together, to create some truly unique moments.

The game is coming out on March 6 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
