Splatoon 3 is gearing up for another season of fun this September
Nintendo has announced that the next season of Splatoon 3 content will arrive on September 1st. Called Drizzle Season, it will bring new maps, weapons and of course fresh new outfits to wear.
The two new stages, at least revealed so far are Crableg Capita and Shipshape Cargo Co. The first stage will have you taking the action up onto cranes and girders, while also dealing with those on the ground below. The second stage takes place on the water, as the battle rages on a boat.
Those who are all in on Salmon Run will get the chance to revisit a classic map, when Salmonid Smokeyard makes a return, having debuted in Splatoon 2.
On the weapon front we have the Dread Wringer, a sloshing type weapon that will cover a lot of ground quickly and the Heavy Edit Splatling, a more hardcore version of a fan favourite.
On the clothing side of things, which is a big deal for Splatoon there are a few additions. Of course, there will be a host of new gear to obtain and own, the list of that has not been revealed, what we do know is that Salmon Run is getting new looks. The season will also allow players to start making changes to their existing outfits, like wearing a hat backwards.
Also announced were new amiibo based on Shiver, Frye, and Big Man. The amiibo are expected on November 17th and while not confirmed for here, will likely come in the three pack that most amiibo tend to release as.
You can also see a little more on them in the tweet below, as they have a spinning version of the amiibo in each.
