Side Order is coming up for Splatoon 3 this February
Remember when Splatoon 3 launched, that Nintendo promised two waves of DLC for the game, the first was called Inkopolis and just returned the first games hub to players, the second was Side Order and a complete mystery. We now have a date for when that mystery will be unleashed as the DLC will release on February 22nd and we have a brief new teaser for it.
We have known for a while that Side Order would be a rogue-like experience and now we know a little more, as Nintendo have said the following about the expansion:
As Agent 8, you wake up to discover Inkopolis Square has been drained of colour and its residents have gone missing. Alongside a drone who claims to be Off the Hook member Pearl, ascend the floors of the Spire of Order and strengthen your abilities as you climb the tower in a single-player experience that’s designed to be replayed over and over!
The only roadblock for some is that the expansion is currently only available via the Season Pass, so if you want it, you need to buy both. There is no word on if it will come to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pass tier like the Splatoon 2 DLC did.
