Devolver Digital and developer Flying Wild Hog were aiming to have Shadow Warrior 3 release this year for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but it seems that is not to be the case.

As you can discover, via the trailer below, the game has now been delayed into 2022, but no specific window was given for its new release, outside of the year. Interesting, the devs still had fun announcing the delay, which is on brand for the game.

There is a fair chance that when the game does release next year, it will pick up Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 versions of the game, but that is not confirmed, just speculation.
