Secret Level has been revealed and will offer new looks into some classic games

Prime Video and Blur Studios have announced that on December 10, videogames might never look the same again as Secret Level will release then. This is an anthology series, where each episode will take place within a world from a game, telling an all-new story. Check out the teaser below.

If you didn’t count all of the worlds from the trailer above, it is ok, we have a list.

  • Armored Core

  • Concord

  • Crossfire

  • Dungeons & Dragons

  • Exodus

  • Honor of Kings

  • Mega Man

  • New World: Aeternum

  • PAC-MAN

  • PlayStation (Highlighting various PlayStation Studios beloved entities)

  • Sifu

  • Spelunky

  • The Outer Worlds

  • Unreal Tournament

  • Warhammer 40,000

There are only two things wrong with this series, first is that we don’t know how long each of the episodes are, they could be 5 minute shorts or 25 minute delights. The second is that they use the term ‘beloved gaming classics’ to describe all of the games included and for some you can argue yes totally. But then you see things like Concord or Honor of Kings, the first has not officially released and the second is a moba from China, and riddled with microtransactions.

That does not highlight the fact that Dungeons and Dragons is not known as a videogame series, New World: Aeternum is quite literally Amazon’s own videogame and for some reason Concord is not counted inside PlayStation, even though the IP and the studio making the game are both owned by Sony.

Given that Blur Studios make some honestly incredible animations for games, I have no doubt they will deliver here, I just wonder how this list was selected.

In any event, the 15 episodes will arrive onto Prime Video on December 10.
