Season 8 of Apex Legends is coming, with a new Legend and perhaps the Switch release as well

Respawn are getting ready to kick of Season 8 of Apex Legends, with the reveal of the next Legend to join the fight, say hello to Fuse, he likes to make things go BOOM!

More details about Fuse, his story and the new changes to the game will likely come later in the week, if the usual release timings hold true.

There is no date for when Season 8, called Mayhem, will kick off but the Japanese YouTube account for the above video, did have something interesting listed with the text.

Not only did it show that the season was starting on Feb 2, but that it would also include the Switch version of the game. The below image was saved by the Twitter account, Apex Legends News.

About 25 minutes after that was revealed to be there, it was removed and in that time, there was no word on the English trailers for the Switch version.

Of course, that could be completely wrong, but given the game was meant to only need more polish time when it was delayed back in late October 2020, a February release might seem like a solid timeframe. Guess we shall have to wait and see now.
