Samsung are delivering protection for your data, no matter where you take it

Samsung have announced that new portable hard drives are coming, delivering protection to your data, no matter what the world throws at it.

These new drives are marked as T7 Shield, and coming 1tb or 2tb offerings and in the colours, Beige, Black and Blue, so no Bred, Byellow or Bwhite, just legitimate colours starting with B.

The drives themselves comes with a USB Type-C-to-C cable and a USB Type-C-to-A cable, and includes a three-year limited warranty with the prices set at $239.00 for the 1TB and $459.00 for the 2TB.

Of course, the big reason to look into these is that they are built tough. So much so that they are rated IP65 for water and dirt and the exterior design has been made using an elastomer to allow for a drop over 3 meters, without any damage to the device. Just don’t start throwing it around to be safe, however should you drop it, you should be fine.

The most interesting element to these drives is that they are SSD, so no moving parts, which makes them perfect for on the go data storage and given they are small, 88mm long, 59mm tall and only 13mm deep, they won’t take up much room either.

If that is too much storage for your needs, then the Samsung PRO Endurance, which will be available in the next few days should suit, as it offers four different storage capacities of 32gb, 64gb, 128gb and 256gb with the prices ranging from $19.95 for the 32gb to $119.95 for the 256gb.
