Marvelous and developer Edelweiss have announced Sakuna Chronicles: Kokorowa and the Gears of Creation, a spin-off to Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin that puts the focus on Kokorowa, Sakuna’s close friend, who is a high-ranking goddess presiding over wheels and inventions from her heavenly home. Check out the reveal trailer for the game below.

Sadly that is all the news we have on the new game, as there are not platforms or release dates given, but there is more for the larger Sakuna series. The anime series that was based off Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin is getting a sequel, plus a mobile phone game for Sakuna is also in development.

So all combined that is three new projects following on from the first game, which we really enjoyed, so it is great to see the series growing beyond the rice fields it planted originally.
