Rocksmith+ is turning the amp back on, as it will release next week on PC

Ubisoft have announced that Rocksmith+ will soon welcome all those who want to shred, as the game will hit PC next week, on September 6. Check out the reveal trailer for the game, that was released last year.

Rocksmith+ is a subscription service, that will let players learn how to play guitar, by learning from over 5000 songs, across a variety of genres and artists including The Clash, Juan Gabriel, Eurythmics, Cake, Muddy Waters, Natalia Lafourcade, Alicia Keys, Boston, Martinho Da Vila, Peter Tosh, Santana, Van Morrison, and many more.

In order to play this unique music game, you need an actual guitar - any electric, acoustic, or bass guitar works and then once you have it, you You can connect it to your PC with the Rocksmith Real Tone Cable or with the free Rocksmith+ Connect mobile app, which has phone-as-mic technology that uses the on-board microphone to track your playing with no additional gear needed.

The only roadblock for some, is that you need the Ubisoft Store to access the game, not a big one, but just something to be aware of, it will also be available on mobile devices later in the year. Rocksmith+ will be available for $19.95 for a 1-month subscription, $54.95 for a 3-month subscription, and $139.95 for a 12-month subscription.
