Rock on as Rockbeasts has been announced
Team17 and developer Lichthund have announced Rockbeasts, a game that has you take control of a band, as you guide them from nobodies, to global names. Check out the trailer below and if you spot a familiar voice, that is because Iggy Pop is in the game.
You take the role of a notorious band manager, taking on the task of raising a struggling rock band from their beginnings, trading couch-surfing for crowd-surfing. Will you stay true to your art? Or will you sellout for fortune and fame? The choices you make as a manager will have profound and lasting impacts on your members.
Pick the venue, prep the set and make sure it all goes according to plan. Pull it off and the band might just finally take those first steps to fame and glory. Sure, this one was in a grimy basement, but even the rock legends had to start somewhere, right?
With over 100 hand drawn characters and almost as many locations, your journey to rock star status will take many paths, so are you ready?
The game is coming to PC, Switch, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, but there is no date for it yet.
