RIG Pro Compact gaming controllers are coming next month

In a move that seems a little weird, but really isn’t known controller makers Nacon have announced that the RIG series of headsets is branching out, as the RIG Pro Compact controller has been announced and released into stores on June 1st.

The controller is wired, meaning it has to be plugged in, but it also means phenomenal response times, but more than that, the controller can be shaped to work for you, with stick and trigger sensitivity options, as well as full button remapping.

“We’re excited to introduce the RIG PRO Compact controller to Australia and New Zealand,” said RIG VP of Global Sales & Marketing, Peter Petrides. “Being able to leverage NACON’s expertise as the #1 third-party controller brand in Europe, means we’re bringing RIG gamers a product that stays true to our brand promise. Which is to develop next generation gear that helps gamers improve their performance. This is the perfect controller for competitive players who prefer, and play better, using a smaller form factor not available in other elite products, the PRO Compact provides unparalleled levels of customisation through its dedicated PRO Compact app. This, coupled with the inclusion of Dolby Atmos, makes it an extremely compelling controller for its price.”

Yes you read that right, the controller also supports Dolby Atmos, which ties perfectly into the refreshed RIG 500 PRO Gen 2 headsets, also announced and coming in July.

The RIG Pro Compact controller will be offered in Black and White colours and can be ordered today from both EB Games and JB Hifi.
