Ride the thrills once more as Planet Coaster 2 gets revealed

After 8 years of operation, Frontier have announced that Planet Coaster 2 is coming this Spring and unlike the first, it will launch on consoles alongside PC. Check out the reveal trailer for the game below.

Building upon the genre-defining creative management simulation, Planet Coaster 2, the ultimate coaster park experience is set to reach new heights with all-new water park gameplay. With incredible attractions, stunning scenery, and authentic management, players must provide their guests with an unforgettable day out as they put their creativity and business acumen to the test across three engaging game modes.

Planet Coaster 2 offers players an array of vibrant water attractions to create their very own coaster and water park paradise. Make a splash with guests as they float along lazy rivers, speed down flumes, plunge into wave pools, and ride exhilarating water coasters. Create an authentic water park experience by providing changing rooms, sunbeds, lifeguards, and more.

Planet Coaster 2 takes creativity to new heights, building on the success of its predecessor. Players can draw inspiration from real-world parks and craft vibrant guest plazas with improved building and pathing tools. The intuitive piece-by-piece building system and captivating new themes make it easy to elevate park designs. With a stellar selection of authentic rides, including fan favorites and exciting new water coasters, players can now customize rides for a unique experience. The enhanced event sequencer tool allows for dazzling displays using animatronics, smoke, water jets, sound, and more, creating unforgettable memories for guests.

Planet Coaster 2 offers three exciting game modes for players to dive into: Career, Franchise, and Sandbox. In Career mode, players tackle various scenarios with different challenges. Franchise mode allows players to build a global park network and compete on leaderboards. Sandbox mode provides the freedom to create parks without financial or management constraints.

The game also enhances social interaction, making it easier to enjoy with friends. Players can visit each other's parks, test rides, and collaborate in shared Sandbox levels across platforms. Additionally, the Frontier Workshop enables players to share and download blueprints and full parks for inspiration.

Details for the game will continue to be revealed each Thursday morning, (Wednesday for those in the UK), with the game aiming for a Spring 2024 release for PC, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.
