Ara: History Untold marks a new era in the realm of historical grand strategy games, blending time-honoured PC strategy elements with ground-breaking features. These include a national crafting economy, authentic simultaneous turn resolution, a flexible technology tree, and robust cloud-supported multiplayer options, both synchronous and asynchronous. The game's presentation is both broad and detailed, allowing players to zoom from the macro view of their sprawling empire to the micro, witnessing their citizens' daily routines. "Ara" offers a sandbox of opportunities, eschewing predetermined victory conditions and instead, laying the foundation for a myriad of outcomes. Every decision carves out a unique world, tailoring an experience that is truly your own, and crafting a legacy that will stand the test of time.

Ara, at its core, is a classic turn-based historical grand strategy game that spans the scope of human history from ancient times all the way up to the modern era and beyond. But it’s also a game that (Oxide) has been really pouring a lot of modern elements into it. They’ve made the look of the game something completely unique that you’ve never seen before.
— Brian Stone, Head of Ara for Xbox Game Studios

The game will arrive on PC on September 24 and will be available via Steam, Windows PC and included inside of Game Pass.
