Relive the history of Tetris when Tetris Forever arrives this November

Retro masters Digital Eclipse have announced Tetris Forever, the next entry in the studio’s acclaimed Gold Master Series. The collection, which features a variety of playable Tetris games from the last four decades and a brand-new game created by Digital Eclipse. Check out the announcement trailer below.

Journey through four decades of Tetris with more than 15 playable classic games, including several being released outside of Japan for the first time. See where it all began in 1984 with an accurate recreation of the first version of Tetris on the Electronika 60 computer; battle your friends in the multiplayer cult favourite Tetris Battle Gaiden; create massive explosions to clear lines in Super Tetris 2 + Bombliss, and many more memorable game experiences.

The full list of games included has not been announced, the first 9 have been named though, which means we still have a chance at Tetris Sphere.

As this is part of their Gold Series of games, which include a documentary as well, players here will find over 90 minutes of all new footage, that tell the true story of Tetris.

The game is coming to Switch, PC, Xbox and PlayStation later this year, but there is no set date yet.
