Razer use CES to debut some new gear, each year and while some of the game is normal, there is some content that is just odd, a few years ago they released a prototype device, which has evolved into the Tomahawk, their first gaming desktop.

The design is easily the feature that will grab your attention right away, all-aluminum body is flanked by tempered glass on both sides, giving you the chance to highlight your graphics card. Powering the machine is the all new Intel, NUC 9 Extreme Compute Element, which can support a Core i9 Gen 9 cpu, code named Coffee Lake, but those who want a cheaper option can pull up a Core i3 or i7.

If you should include a beefy video card, you will be happy to know that the top of the case has an open vent design, to help with air flow and keeping the unit as cool as it can get. Access to the case is done by the back of the device, with a design that allows access, without the need for tools, though the mechanism does require a little effort to open.

The case can support a Nvidia GTX 2080 card, so if you have that or something smaller, then you are ok to insert it in, with the NUC element allowing for cards up to 20cm in length. Finally, those who want the case, but none of the rest will be happy to know that Razer will be selling the case on its own, alongside the prebuilt systems, sometime in the first half of 2020.
