Ravenbound delivers a dev diary to welcome players to the world of Ávalt
During the recent PC Gaming Show, developers Systemic Reaction were on hand to reveal the first dev diary for their upcoming title, Ravenbound, check it out.
Ravenbound is a roguelite set in the world of Ávalt, a place described as a beautiful but deadly fantasy world, that takes inspiration from Scandinavian folk tales. You are the Vessel, and within you is the Raven – a powerful weapon forged by the ancient gods to rid the land of darkness. Use skill and wit to defeat ferocious enemies, become stronger and wiser with each run, and save Ávalt from its monsters.
If that sounds interesting and you want to see more, or you want to see gameplay in general, the team did release a nice long gameplay video a month back. The video is made up of alpha footage, so things may not look perfect, but still it is worth watching.
Right now there is no release date for the game, or platforms confirmed, but the studio and their parent company tend to release games for PC and Xbox platforms, so those are likely.
