Prove who is the smurfest of them all when Smurfs Kart races onto Switch later this year
Microids and Imps have announced that later this year Switch owners will get the chance to prove they are the best Smurf when Smurfs Kart races onto the scene.
The game is being made by Eden Games, best known for their work on the older Test Drive Unlimited games, but more recently as the folks behind the Gear.Club series of racing games, which are on all platforms.
When players get to racing, you will choose your Smurf, with each one having their own special kart and unique ability. Combine that with shortcuts and items, you should be able to move up to the front of the pack and become the best racer in the village.
The game will offer a lot for solo players, but those who want to race with friends will also find plenty to enjoy and never mind if you are not the strongest drive around, the game will take all ages into consideration.
As for when you can race, the game is expected later in the year, with Microids stating a ‘Winter’ release for the Northern Hemisphere, so that could mean an early December release for us.
