Koch Media have revealed that they are spinning up a new publishing label, called Prime Matter and usually when a new label is revealed, games take awhile to come, but that is not the case here, as the first game is coming in just a few months.

Koch Media is not unknown, so you might ask, why start up a new label, that could confuse players, check out this statement, which hopefully explains why.

“Games originate from the minds and hearts of the developers. Prime Matter is focused on maximising this potential from the studios whilst empowering their dream or vision; one of our core values is to enable and support the studios, giving them the chance and freedom to express themselves within their game as they deserve. said Mario Gerhold, Global Brand & Marketing Director (Games) Koch Media Group. Some of the most treasured I.Ps in our industry started out as crowdfunded, or projects outside the mainstream that the developers truly believe in… history has proved that inspiration and talent is not defined by stereotypes”

Beyond that though, there are twelve, that is 12 games, coming to players via the new label, here is the full list, some games are already known, like the first one, others are all new.

While the below gives you a little on each, the Koch Media Primetime Showcase will have more on each of them.

Payday 3

2023 – PC & consoles - Starbreeze

The latest upcoming instalment in this high-octane first person co-op shooter game, set in a Hollywood like environment, that lets players live out the fantasy of being a world-class career criminal, who joins the legendary Payday gang and master the art of heisting

Crossfire Legion

2022 – PC – Blackbird Interactive/Smilegate

The world of Crossfire provides the perfect scenario and backdrop for an RTS thanks to its unique approach to futuristic global warfare and warring factions and is being created by Blackbird Interactive, who brought Homeworld back a few years ago.

King’s Bounty II

2021 – PC, PS4, Xbox One, Switch – 1C Entertainment

This one is out very soon, how soon, August 24 to be exact and with this, players will get the sequel to the 1990 original King’s Bounty, yes 31 years later.

The Last Oricru

2022 – PC & Consoles - Gold Knights

Set on a medieval inspired world, but mixed with sci-fi elements. The game can be played solo, or with a friend from start to finish and if you do, gameplay options will change, offering different ways to complete tasks.

Encased

2021 – PC – Dark Crystal Games

This game set within the 1970’s will send players on a mission to discover the secrets of an alien civilization, all while trying to survive a very unique business plan

Gungrave G.O.R.E.

2022 – PC & console – Studio Iggymob

This one is a stylish third-person action shooter, that has you take on the role of Grave, a gunslinger of resurrection and badass anti-hero of your dreams, mowing down tons of enemies in a gory ballet of bullets.

The Chant

Q2 2022 – PC & Consoles - Brass Token

This third person psychological thriller will test all players, as a journey to find your zen goes horribly wrong.

Final Form

TBC – PC & Consoles – Reikon Games

This one is an adrenaline fueled futuristic FPS with the player taking on the role of a cybernetic Valkyrie saving humanity from extinction, check out the teaser trailer.

Dolmen

2022 – PC & Consoles - Massive Work Studio

Combining sci-fi and Lovecraftian horror, this cosmic adventure will have the player overcome vicious bosses and survive in hostile environments, as the unique story reveals secrets of a mysterious crystal called Dolmen

Echoes of the End

TBC – PC & Next Gen Consoles – Myrkur Games

A narrative third person adventure, this game will have players step into the role of Ryn, a fighter who is willing to take on jobs, in order to earn a living. But she won’t just fight like normal, because she can manipulate and destroy matter.

Scars Above

2022 – PC & Consoles – Mad Head Studios

Trapped on a hostile alien world, you will have to use your scientific skills to survive, but also source out the truth behind just what is going on.

Painkiller

Sabre Interactive

The final game revealed for Prime Matter is that of Painkiller, the series is coming back, but apart from confirmation of its existence, there is nothing else know.
