Team17 have announced that the farming update for The Survivalists has come to consoles today, having already seen success on PC. The new update allows for you to farm, tame animals but also dodge dangerous new threats.

It is still a case of monkey see, monkey do as the games mimic system can be used as well, because there are new structures, recipes, and items to aid your arable adventure, including a faster raft to make island-hopping more expedient. Combat as a whole has been overhauled too, giving greater control over direction of attacks for more fluid fighting. Lunge and knockback changes have also been made, and stamina has been altered, leaving players less likely to be worn out during combat and harvesting resources.

The update is free and available now for Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
