Pikmin 4 gets more details and modes via the latest Nintendo Direct
During the recent Nintendo Direct, we got another look at Pikmin 4 that showed off more of the games night mode, a first for the series. Check out the trailer for it below.
For the first time in the Pikmin series, you can eventually set out for night expeditions. But nightfall sends creatures into a frenzy, so stay alert. Thankfully, you’ll come across the new Glow Pikmin to drive them away.
But it won’t just be night time adventures that require your attention, there will also be castaways found throughout the world, the only problem is that you can’t just save them. The game will introduce Dandori Battles and in this mode, you will have to collect more objects than your opponent within the time limit to win and save the castaway.
Finally a demo for the game is coming on June 28th, there is no word on if the demo will transfer progress to the full release. Pikmin 4 will release on July 21st for Switch.
