Phoenix Point is bringing tactical action to consoles this October

Prime Matter, the new publishing arm of Koch Media, have revealed that they are working with Snapshot Games to bring their turn-based tactical game Phoenix Point to consoles. Labelled the Behemoth Edition, the game has been redesigned to make full use of console controllers, whilst still maintaining that tense moment to moment gameplay, check out the trailer for it below.

The Behemoth Edition isn’t just a console port of the PC game, it also adds in four major DLC expansions — including the upcoming DLC 4: “Corrupted Horizons,” which launches same-day on PC — plus a DLC weapons pack and free next-gen upgrade to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S after launch.

Created by the man behind the X-Com series, Phoenix Point delivers a new breed of turn-based strategy and action. Earth has been overrun. A mutating alien menace threatens the last remnants of mankind. Only the Phoenix Project, a secret organization of the greatest minds and bravest soldiers left, can fight back and save the world.

Phoenix Point: Behemoth Edition is hitting PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 1st.
