Permadeath is now possible in Assassin's Creed Mirage
Ubisoft have released a big update for Assassin’s Creed Mirage that brings a host of fixes and updates, but also some new inclusions, like Permadeath.
One of the additions is that of a Permadeath mode, or as they call it in the game Full Synchronization Challenge. The rules for it are fairly simple, die in the game and you are disconnected from the animus and once you are, a screen will appear to tell you how long you survived and more. In fact, you will get statistics of gameplay time, total amount of conflicts, cause of the death, number of enemies killed, assassin rank and difficulty chosen to play.
But it isn’t just death that will do it, illegal action like killing folks or even wandering outside of the maps boundaries will cause you to desync. As the name suggests too, once you are done, you are done, because upon your death your save file is deleted.
The official update notes also include details on the rewards for completing the game on the various difficulty levels, and if that was not enough, you can also see what fixes and other changes have been made.
The update is out now and should have installed to your system already, if not, check your updates for the game and good luck.
