After years of silence, we finally have a new trailer for Perfect Dark, well not just a trailer but actual gameplay. This was shown off at the Xbox Games Showcase 2024, but don’t get too excited, there was no release date given or even platforms. You can check out the gameplay below.

The Xbox Wire has more details around how you can play the game, namely that you are given a goal and how you achieve it is up to you.

The biggest concern though is that lack of a release date and platforms, while sure Xbox Series X|S and PC would be expected, not seeing those logos does not fill me with confidence. It is possible the team just wanted to be confident on the game being they confirmed them, but if you are showing gameplay, then you are pretty confident I would say.

As there is no release window either, we don’t know how long the wait is, but given it took 3.5 years between its announcement and our first proper look, I wouldn’t hope out hope that its coming soon.
