Oz Comic-Con is popping up in Sydney next month

Oz Comic-Con didn’t really work in 2020, but the folks behind it have big plans for it in 2021 and that will kick off in early March, with the newly announced OCC POP UP, taking place in Sydney.

Think of it as a sampler Comic-Con, there will be appearances from local creators, comic artists, gaming and freeplay opportunities, industry talks and panels and exclusive merchandise that can’t be found anywhere else, but without the massive amount of overseas folks coming along.

Confirmed guests for the OCC POP UP include Queenie Chan (The Dreaming, Fabled Kingdom), Christopher Sequeria (Sherlock Holmes: The Australian Casebook, The SuperAustralians), Louie Joyce (Haphaven, Past the Last Mountain), and JusZ Cosplay, with more announcements yet to come.

Tickets can be bought here, but before you go, just know that all social distancing rules will be enforced throughout the show, no word on if masks will be mandatory though.

There is more information about it on the site, which includes the days and times the show will be going on. So what say you, does this seem like something you might be in to attending?
