Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 is coming next month

After being silent for quite a while, Sega have announced that Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 - The Official Video Game, will finally arrive on June 22 for Switch, PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, giving you a chance to go for the gold.

Featuring 18 fun-fueled Olympic events, a robust Avatar Creator and local and online play for up to 8 players, Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 offers aspiring Olympians of all ages a chance to pursue their own Olympic dreams at home or online. Below is the full list of events you can take part in:

  • 4x100m Relay

  • 110m Hurdles

  • Hammer Throw

  • Long Jump

  • Baseball

  • Basketball

  • Beach Volleyball

  • BMX (Cycling)

  • Boxing

  • Judo

  • Rugby Sevens

  • Football (Soccer)

  • 100m Freestyle (Swimming)

  • 200m Individual Medley (Swimming)

  • Sport Climbing

  • Table Tennis

  • Tennis

As you might have guessed from the trailer and the screens below, you will also be able to dress up in a variety of outfits, giving you an Astronaut in the 100m or a pirate in the pool.
