Offline and more comes to Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics

Capcom have announced that Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics is getting a pretty hefty update, that among other things will bring offline versus to all the games in the collection. There are two games getting some specific updates, the first is version selection and the second is all about that resolution.

X-Men vs. Street Fighter

  • Version Select – Select which version to play for X-Men vs. Street Fighter. Chose between versions 960910, 961004, and 961023.

Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes

  • Resolution Option – Change the resolution for Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes. Increase graphics quality for smoother game visuals.

General

  • Offline Versus – Play Versus Mode in all fighting titles. Battle to your heart’s content!

  • Menu Button Settings – Menus during online play can now be opened with a long press to avoid accidental inputs.

  • Game Reset – Reset the game directly from the pause menu.

  • New Artwork – View new artwork by Capcom artist Shinkiro.

  • Bonus Tracks – Groove out to remixes of classic songs by CAP-JAMS from the Capcom Sound Team.

  • “Theme of Captain America” arranged by CAP-JAMS

  • “Theme of Cyclops” arranged by CAP-JAMS

  • “Theme of Jin” arranged by CAP-JAMS

  • “Theme of Captain Commando” arranged by CAP-JAMS

The update itself will go live in the next 24 hours, but the exact rollout times will vary based on player region and platform.
