Octopath Traveler II will venture onto Xbox in early 2024
During the Xbox Digital Broadcast for Tokyo Game Show 2023, Square Enix revealed that Octopath Traveler II will be coming to Xbox and Windows in early 2024.
Developed by the same team behind the beloved original, which spawned a series that has sold over four million copies combined worldwide, Octopath Traveler II improves upon the series' iconic HD-2D visuals: a striking blend of retro 2D characters in a beautiful 3D world. The game's new storyline, characters and features make it the perfect entry for newcomers to the series, while also preserving the charm of the original game for veteran players. Players can look forward to following the journey of eight distinct protagonists as they explore the land and conquer enemies in strategic turn-based battles on an adventure all their own.
The game is already on Switch, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, along with PC via Steam, but the Xbox released was not announced until now. The screens below are not from the Xbox version, but just give you an idea.
