No need to smuggle things around as Star Wars Outlaws will release this August

Ubisoft have revealed a new story trailer for Star Wars Outlaws, one that explains a little more about what is going on to Kay Vess and the galaxy at large. As the trailer ends, it is confirmed that the game will release on August 30th, so check it out.

The game has you take on the role of Kay Vess, who alongside her companion Nix, set out on the score of a lifetime while the Empire is focused on more rebellious elements, but the score is not for her, but rather to deal with the threat of Sliro, leader of the newly formed criminal syndicate Zerek Besh.

Kay and Nix will need to navigate the underworld across the galaxy, building their reputation with legendary criminal organizations including the Pyke Syndicate, the Hutt Cartel and Crimson Dawn to earn the support they need to finish the job. There is another criminal group that players will need to contend with, the Ashiga Clan who created by Massive Entertainment and are now part of the Star Wars Universe.

The game itself will be available in three flavours, as of course it is, there is the standard, Gold and Ultimate Editions, with the latter two offering 3 days early access to the game. Below is the breakdown of the editions and their local RRPs

  • Digital art book: A selection of the game's concept art and visuals, including unique cinematic storyboards.
