In a weird reveal, Nintendo have announced that Nintendo Music is out now, this new stand alone app for Nintendo Switch Online members, lets you enjoy music from Nintendo games of the past 40 years.

Nintendo Music offers a seamless streaming experience, allowing you to play songs directly from the app or download them for offline enjoyment. Effortlessly search for tracks by game title, track name, or playlist, or even select music by browsing game screenshots. Once you've discovered your favorite melodies, curate your own playlist. Alternatively, you can opt for playlists curated by Nintendo, or explore those shared by friends and the online community.

For those who require a musical backdrop during work or study sessions, the app provides the option to loop songs or extend select tracks to 15, 30, or 60 minutes, ensuring continuous play. And for those keen on avoiding game spoilers, the app includes a feature to filter out soundtracks that might reveal key plot points.
