Nintendo 64 games are coming to Nintendo Switch Online
During the recent Nintendo Direct, Nintendo announced that games from the Nintendo 64 would be added to the Nintendo Switch Online service, with the first batch coming in October.
Here is the list of games available, coming on day one:
Super Mario 64
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Mario Kart 64
Star Fox 64
Sin and Punishment
Dr. Mario 64
Mario Tennis 64
WinBack
Yoshi’s Story
But Nintendo have also outlined some of the games to come in the future:
Banjo-Kazooie
Pokémon Snap
The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask
Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards
Mario Golf
Paper Mario
F-Zero X
Of course a new series of retro games means a new retro controller and they have created a new wireless Nintendo 64 controller, complete with share button on the top. What this will cost members is not yet know, but $80 or around there would be a solid guess.
We must address the elephant in the room though, in order to gain access to these games, you have to upgrade your Nintendo Switch Online membership and with Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack (Nintendo really suck at naming things) they are the Sega Mega Drive titles will be available to you.
