New intel has been delivered for Call of Duty: Warzone's upcoming Operation Monarch event

Call of Duty: Warzone has featured some big name guest stars in the past, but perhaps none as big as the upcoming Godzilla vs Kong content, that is dropping tomorrow and that means we have a new trailer and details to enjoy, so enjoy.

If you have ever seen a movie that features either of these iconic characters, you would know that they can leave a massive wake of destruction in their path, if they so choose and while they might be peaceful if you leave them alone, they are not they are still going to be destructive. Here are the details released about the beasts.

Facts are all well and good I hear you ask, but what about if you encounter Godzilla on the island, well his Heat Ray Breath appears as several red circles on your minimap after it lights up Godzilla’s scales with an icy-blue glow. It’s best to avoid his line of fire; those who end up in its destructive path have mere seconds to evade the attack.

As for Kong, while his main domain is Skull Island, Kong is here on Caldera. He employs an epic brawler fight style, using quick feet, aerial traversal, and sheer feral strength to confuse and disorient his opponents. He will leap and jump around the island. Figuring out where he will land next requires further on-the-ground research from Operators. Keep your distance.

So you now know what to expect, should you encounter either of these behemoths on the island, but what about getting onto it, well that is where Operation Monarch Mode comes into play.

This new and limited time mode supports 60 players and uses the Resurgence Rules, so the last team alive wins. When you get boots on the ground, dotted around will be Monarch Intel via Supply Boxes, special drops, and fallen enemies. Use this to charge a special meter that unlocks items such as Killstreaks and Loadout Drops, along with a unique and powerful Titan Killstreak reward for filling it up completely.

While collecting intel and eliminating enemies, Operators will need to watch out for Kong and Godzilla. Dealing damage to either Titan awards additional Monarch Intel. Those who see the titans go ape, so to speak, can attempt to take them on, with the team that deals the most damage, awarded the Titan S.C.R.E.A.M, a device that lets you communicate with them.

If you have one, you can speak to either of them and call in a devastating attack, either Godzilla’s Heat Ray Breath or Kong’s ground pound and a rock throw.

Finally, there are going to be limited time item sets available, that will let you dress the part, if you plan on playing the part of a gorilla or a mecha-Godzilla.
