New details revealed for Mario vs. Donkey Kong
Nintendo have released a few new videos for the upcoming Mario vs. Donkey Kong remake, which is set to launch on February 16th, first check out the games opening movie.
In addition to that, they also put out recently a brief video showing off some of the gameplay, including the fact that there are new additions to the game, ensuring that it is not a 1-1 remake of the original, its enhanced.
Yes it seems that in addition to a ground up remake of the original release, Nintendo are adding in new additions, like a casual mode. The games puzzle difficulty won’t change, but should you take a hit you will move back to the checkpoint and as there is no timer, you can take all the time you want.
A two player co-op mode has also been added, which makes sense given the game is on the Switch now, so passing a Joy-Con over will give you someone to play along with.
Finally there is also now a time attack for every stage that you beat, so if you think you can do a stage faster than the developers, be sure to give it a go.
