New details for the career path for PGA Tour 2K23 have been released
2K have released a new gameplay video for PGA Tour 2K23, which shows off some of the options available to players, as they take the reigns of their golfing journey, within the MyCareer mode, check it out.
Before you can swing into action for your career, you need to create your own golfer and that is where MyPlayer comes into things. Customisation is deeper than ever, with new player archetypes and skill trees. Players choose the style that works best for them, from a long-driving power hitter to a short game expert. Custom club fitting allows a further degree of personalization, allowing for unique combinations of club attributes
There are a lot of brands available to you, Bridgestone Golf, Callaway Golf, Nike Golf and a few that don’t have golf in the name like Puma, Mizuno and many more. In addition to customization options, pro rivalries and sponsorship opportunities add to the realism of MyCAREER.
Speaking of your career, the game will start out on the Korn Ferry Tour, where you will have to prove your metal in this high-intensity game, or at least golf and then you can start to make your way up the PGA Tour ladder.
Once you have started to make a name for yourself, you can start to take on the likes of Tiger Woods, Justin Thomas, Lexi Thompson, Lydia Ko, Collin Morikawa, Brooke Henderson and Tony Finau
To make everything as authentic as possible an updated broadcast-style presentation and commentary team of Rich Beem, Luke Elvy and newcomer Henni Koyack, will add to the immersive experience.
The game is coming out on October 14th for Xbox, PC and PlayStation, but anyone who orders either the Digital Deluxe or the Tiger Woods edition will get the game three days early. You can learn about the breakdown of offerings in each edition right here.
