New challenges and rewards are coming to Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time

Activision have announced that when players boot into Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, they will also discover some new challenges in the form of Flashback levels, something that will take players back to the 90’s.

These levels are designed to challenge players on two fronts, their technical response and their puzzle solving, but it won’t just be new levels to play. Hidden will also be some old school VHS tapes, which when discovered, will begin to unlock the origin story for Crash and his sister Coco.

If that wasn’t enough, you can also test your skills in Neo Cortex’s Test Chambers, but that should only be attempted by those seeking a real challenge.

The game is out on October 2nd for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
