NEO: The World Ends with You is coming in 2021

After kicking off a countdown for something related to The World Ends with You, overnight Square Enix announced that a sequel game is coming, NEO: The World Ends with You, check out the trailer below.

The game is coming to Switch and PlayStation 4, with the release date for set for Winter of 2021, but there is no firm date for it yet.

NEO: The World Ends with You will transport players to the streets of the Shibuya, where they will take part in the “Reapers’ Game,” a life-or-death battle for survival. Players will take on the role of Rindo as they explore the heart of Tokyo to uncover the mysteries behind the sinister Game in which they have been forced to take part.

Players can explore and enjoy the sights, sounds, and culture of a modern Shibuya, fight monsters alongside their ally companions in fast-paced action battles, and complete missions as they seek to change the fate they’ve been handed.
