MotoGP 25 has been announced and rides out this April

As you might have guessed would happen, Milestone have announced MotoGP 25, the latest entry in their long running bike series. Check out the announcement trailer below.

These are all the details we have on the new game, as provided by Milestone

Technical skills, mental strength and strong passion are key ingredients for any MotoGP™ rider eager to leave a lasting mark in the sport. This mix of characteristics can be summarised as the Heart of Racing, the concept behind the new MotoGP™25, which blends all these elements to offer fans the most comprehensive virtual MotoGP™ experience yet.

The brand-new Training Sessions feature is one of the biggest novelties of the new chapter of the franchise. Just like real riders, players will have the opportunity to enjoy some riding time away from the competition, mastering their craft and improving their skills in the Motard, Flat Track and Minibikes disciplines, experiencing dedicated challenges set in original tracks immersed in beautiful environments.

Regardless of players’ skill level, the new MotoGP™25 allows everyone to express their racing passion with the new Arcade Experience, a simplified racing experience available in all game modes and all types of bikes. This option offers a more accessible approach to the game for those who are less familiar with motorcycle simulation but want to feel the thrill of pushing to the limit. It’s not just physics, in the new game it will be possible to see and feel every detail thanks to Unreal Engine 5 and renewed bike sound, realised with dedicated live recording sessions of the original bikes to truly immerse players into the world of MotoGP™.

Due to popular demand, the Riders Market, FIM MotoGP, and Stewards are returning for MotoGP 25. Accompanying these features is a new Bike Development System that will give players more control over the evolution of their bikes through the season, while managing social relationships in the paddock to take fans deeper into the life of a real rider.

Those who want to test their limits against the world will appreciate the full Cross-play*, available from day one, as well as the new ranked races, in which it will be possible to compete against players of the same level. Moreover, the LiveGP Championship is back with new challenges, while the two players local split-screen is the perfect choice to race from the comfort of the couch.

Once again, the community will be able to free their creativity with the game editors. From the helmet editor - where one of the players’ designs even became a real helmet worn by Maverick Viñales’ during last September’s San Marino GP – to the racing number, butt patch, sticker editor and the new podium emotes. Everyone will be able to personalise their virtual rider and share their creations with the world across different platforms

As for release, the game will coming to all platforms on April 30, so PlayStation, Xbox, PC and Switch. Just know that cross-platform multiplayer, liveGP and user generated content is not available on Switch.
