Monster Hunter Wilds delivers a new trailer and beta 2 details
Capcom hosted a Monster Hunter Wilds Showcase, well it followed on from the recent Capcom Spotlight and within it, they confirmed the dates for the second Monster Hunter Wilds Beta. They kicked things off by showing a new trailer, which showed off the new regions, the Iceshard Cliffs.
As for the second beta it will run on the following days.
Friday 7th 2pm AEDT - Monday 10th 1:59pm AEDT
Friday 14th 2pm AEDT - Monday 17th 1:59pm AEDT
So that means one round starts this Friday and the next starts a week later. The demo build is a slightly updated version of the one that released last year. You can learn more about the details in the full spotlight presentation, but you will need to skip ahead to find it. One nice touch is that your character from the first beta can be carried over to this beta, so you won’t have to create your character again. You will also be able to transfer your character to the full game, but only their base look, there will be no progression carried over.
There is not long to go until the full release as the game arrives on February 28th for PC, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. For those playing on PC a special benchmark tool can be found on Steam, to check to see how your machine will stack up.
