Minecraft on PlayStation 4 is getting the Bedrock update

It might have taken a while, but Bedrock is finally coming to PlayStation 4, specifically on December 10. The new update means that those who have the game on the latest box from Sony, will be able to play with those on Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

But it is not just other consoles, you can play against people on Windows 10 PC's as well as mobile devices, but that is not all. The update also provides access to the Minecraft Marketplace, so new skins, games and packs will be available to enjoy.

As with other versions, if you already own the game, you will get prompted about an update when you boot up the old version of it, new players will only be able to buy the Bedrock edition. Now time to get to mining.
