Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol 1 has been dated and detailed
When Konami announced the Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol 1, details were non-existent on what games were being included and any extras. We got the main line up soon after, but there were still questions but now we know what is included and when we are getting it.
The collection will arrive onto Switch, the first confirmed console, but also PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC on October 24th. The game was only ever shown off during the PlayStation Showcase, it was never confirmed for either console, so getting that is nice, but sucks for any PlayStation 4 owners who might have been hyped for it.
As listed before the game will included the following:
Metal Gear Solid (Including VR Missions/Special Missions)
Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty (HD Collection version)
Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (HD Collection version)
It will also include the MSX original games:
Metal Gear
Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake
And the NES titles:
Metal Gear (NES/FC version)
Snake's Revenge
Those final two were the ones that questions still existed on. In addition to the games, we also got confirmation on some of the bonus content. Of course there is no 3DS version of Snake Eater or Gamecube version of the first Metal Gear Sold, but hey this is just Volume 1, so it could happen.
Included are the following:
Metal Gear Solid: Digital Graphic Novel
Metal Gear Solid 2: Digital Graphic Novel
Metal Gear Solid: Screenplay Book
Metal Gear Solid: Master Book
Metal Gear Solid 2: Screenplay Book
Metal Gear Solid 2: Master Book
Metal Gear Solid 3: Screenplay Book
Metal Gear Solid 3: Master Book
Metal Gear & Metal Gear 2: Screenplay Book
Metal Gear & Metal Gear 2: Master Book
Metal Gear Solid: Digital Soundtrack
Because it wouldn’t be a collection if it weren’t missing things, there will be extra tracks available for those who pre-order the game.
