Marvel's Avengers is coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X

Square Enix have announced that while Marvel’s Avengers will release this September for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, when the next gen platforms are released, the game will also release there.

The good news is that those who upgrade to new hardware, will be able to do so with the game as well for free, as Xbox One owners can get the Xbox Series X version of the game and same on the PlayStation family. The best news is that your saves will move with you, so you won’t lose any progress, but if you happen to be an early adopter of hardware and your friends are not, you can play cross-gen on the same family, so PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 can play together.

Speaking of PlayStation 5, they have released a few details about that version of the game, stating that it will be seamless and dynamic, fully utilizing the ultra-high speed SSD, the PS5 DualSense advanced haptics, and immersive spatial audio. Plus in addition to that, players will be able to fully customise their visual experience, PS5 will also provide players with their choice of Enhanced Graphics Mode or High Framerate mode.

More details on the PlayStation 5 version can be found here, but for Xbox Series X, PC or Stadia, there will be a little more of a wait.
