Marvel's Avengers alters its plans for the future, only slightly

Square Enix have announced a State of the Game update for Marvel’s Avengers, giving players a look into the upcoming content, next gen releases and more.

Marvel’s Avengers: Kate Bishop — Taking AIM is the first big DLC release for the game and in order to make sure it has hit the quality that people have been asking for. That means that it will no longer release this month and instead will release sometime in November.

The other delay has hit the next gen version as well, with both the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X versions slipping into 2021. The current versions will be backwards compatible, so you don’t need to wait to play the game again if you are upgrading this November and if you do, your saves will go with you.

If you do jump into the next gen, you can still play with your friends that don’t upgrade yet, which is another reason not to worry about jumping into the next gen.

There is a lot more to unpack in the update, so head to the games official site to read it all.
