Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope delivers new gameplay and the return of a familiar face
Ubisoft kicked off their recent Ubisoft Forward, or at least the main show, with brand new look at Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, showing off new gameplay, including a boss fight against a massive and enraged Wiggler, check it out.
In the extended gameplay, which was shown off during the showcase, we got to see Mario and gang land on the planet known as Terra Flora, as they attempt to undo the damage to it, caused by Cursa. That requires them to explore and discover, but most importantly, head to the top of a volcano by train, which is what leads into the boss fight.
The new gameplay also showcases the wild possibilities that the Sparks can provide during combat by lending Heroes their elemental powers, as well as many of the different moves, combos, and actions players have at their disposal.
The game is set to release on October 20th and can be ordered in the standard edition or gold edition from the Nintendo eShop today. The gold edition will be special, as it includes a season pass for the game, which will bring three DLC packs to players over the next 18 months after release, including the return of Rayman.
