In the enchanting world of Concordia, a mysterious force has shattered the land into a myriad of islands. It falls to the iconic duo, Mario and Luigi, to restore unity. Embarking from Shipshape Island, a unique hybrid of ship and land, they propel themselves from its mighty cannon to traverse diverse islands, from lush rainforests to vibrant cities. Along their odyssey, they'll befriend characters like Connie and the decidedly non-porcine Snoutlet, while also reuniting with Mushroom Kingdom stalwarts such as Peach and Bowser.
To mend the fractured Concordia, the brothers must leverage their unbreakable bond. They employ Bros. Moves to navigate obstacles, transforming into a singular rolling force or wielding elemental balls to clear their path. Combat is revolutionised with Bros. Attacks like the Zapperator, adding a dynamic layer to the turn-based system where precision and timing are crucial for victory.
The introduction of Battle Plugs offers Mario and Luigi tactical edges, such as unleashing shockwaves or securing critical hits on aerial adversaries. This encourages players to mix and match for optimal effect combinations.
Luigi's brilliance shines with Luigi Logic, providing ingenious solutions during exploration and epic confrontations. His sporadic genius not only aids in puzzle-solving and item collection but also delivers devastating blows to formidable foes.
The game itself will release on November 7th, exclusively for Nintendo Switch
