Mafia The Old Country has been revealed, coming in 2025

2K and developers Hangar 13 have announced the next entry in the Mafia series, Mafia The Old Country, which is aiming to release by the end of 2025. Check out the reveal trailer for the game below.

Dive into the tumultuous beginnings of organized crime through a riveting mob tale rooted in the harsh underbelly of Sicily in the 1900s. Struggle for survival in an era marked by danger and ruthlessness, brought vividly to life with the genuine realism and compelling narrative that hallmark the renowned Mafia series.

Across the first three entries in the Mafia franchise, we introduced players to the world of the Mafia through brutal stories set in different eras. In Mafia: The Old Country, we’re going back to the roots of what fans love about the franchise, crafting a deep, linear narrative with that classic mob movie feeling, visiting a stunning new setting, and delivering it all in a tight, focused package perfect for fans of immersive experiences.

The game is coming to PC, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 in 2025, with the only insight to the release window is that it will happen within the 2026 fiscal year for Take-Two. That window runs April 1st to March 31st, so that gives us 9 months of possibilities right now.
