Luigi's Mansion 2 HD will spook Switch owners this June
As part of their Mario Day celebrations, Nintendo went ahead a put the spotlight on Luigi for a bit, or the flashlight in this case as they revealed Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD will arrive on June 27th. No new trailer was revealed for this news, so check out the one from the Nintendo Direct in September 2023.
As the game is a remake/upgrade of the original 3DS release, there isn’t anything especially new in the game, at least that we know of, but here is the official description in any event.
In this visually enhanced adventure, you’ll visit the chilling locales of the eerie Evershade Valley, a place where until recently, the peculiar Dark Moon hung in the sky. According to ghost researcher Professor E.Gadd, it pacified the ghosts of the valley... that is until one night when the Dark Moon mysteriously shattered!
Now, the place is screaming and teeming with troublemaking ghosts! Can Luigi recover the missing pieces of the Dark Moon and restore peace to the valley?
The game is up for pre-order now on the eShop, with local retailers likely to come along in a few days with their own pages.
