LudaNarraCon is back for another year this may and is again full of stories, tales and yarns
Have no plans next weekend or perhaps you are looking to show mum what games can do when a strong narrative is attached, then get excited as LudoNarraCon is back for another year.
This show is a digital only event and runs from May 5th - 9th via Steam and features what you would expect from a show, panels, demos and plenty of discussion, but as is the trend, pants are optional.
During the digital festival, the 42 exhibiting narrative games will give behind-the-scenes insights via livestreams on their store pages, with 33 developers providing playable demos. The line-up includes Goodbye World's BAFTA-winning emotional first person narrative adventure Before Your Eyes and Toge Production's much anticipated Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus and Butterfly. Fellow Traveller will launch Citizen Sleeper on the first day of the festival, with developer Jump Over the Age on exhibit and providing a Citizen Sleeper dev commentary stream, a fireside chat, and a radio stream featuring the in-game soundtrack.
Here is the full list of games that are being shown during the 4 day event and if you are more interested in the panels, here are the ones that have been announced so far.
Here are the key features, in a handy list:
42 exhibiting teams will stream behind the scenes content on their Steam store page
33 demos will be available to download and play during the digital festival
12 hours of live panel discussions streamed on the main "theater" page
Over 100 hours of video content will be available to festival attendees
Over 140 narrative games will be on sale in a special LudoNarraCon sale
While the show is focused on PC, given it is on Steam, many of the games are coming, or already out on other platforms. So no matter what device you game on, if you are a fan of story, then you will want to check this out.
